Every year since 1988, Coyote's Lawrence
Walker has led a tour the week before Easter to coincide with and lead
up to the big Easter weekend bike rally in Kerrville, right in the
heart of the Texas Hill Country, training ground for Lance Armstrong
and the national team. Coyote's annual Pre-Easter Tour has attracted
hundreds of cyclists from all across the U.S. and Canada, from Michigan
to Colorado, from California to Rhode Island. Our five day tour,
Sunday-Thursday, leaves Easter weekend open to enjoy the rally and day
rides out of Kerrville.

TUESDAY, APRIL 11:
We start in Kerrville, in the heart of the beloved Hill Country, just
60 miles northwest of San Antonio on I-10. After a welcome with a light
breakfast (NEW!), we take on Radio Tower Hill and the lovely roller
coaster road along Cypress Creek to Comfort (that's right, the town of
Comfort, Texas) for lunch. Then it's on to the climb to the bat tunnel
on our backroads route to Fredericksburg, Texas' favorite small town.
For a well-deserved dinner, the Fredericksburg Brewery has great food
and beer, and in keeping with the heritage of the town, there are
German options, too. Hoist a stein!
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12:
We take a favorite cycling route along Crabapple Road to awesome
Enchanted Rock State Park for lunch, with an option to add on more
miles along the famous Willow City Loop (mid-week when we'll have it to
ourselves). We return to Fredericksburg so no need to pack up and move
on - a luxury! No one will have a better ride than we will!
THURSDAY, APRIL 13:
We wrap up our three day MINI tour with a triumphant return to the
heart o' the hills on an all-backroads route, even traveling
along single lane ranch roads with NO traffic and cows and goats right
alongside the road, all the while enjoying the flowers and great
mid-April weather. We'll enjoy a post-tour get together with margaritas
back in Kerrville.
FRIDAY-SUNDAY, APRIL 14-16: You are
welcome to stay on in Kerrville for the Easter Hill Country Tour
weekend bike rally, featuring three days of loop rides, food and
